Retrofête: The New York Brand Built to Welcome You to the Party
Retrofête is a New York brand launched in 2018 by Ohad Seroya and Aviad Klin, a husband-and-husband duo both born and raised in Israel. Seroya started in retail at 16 and worked his way from buyer to showroom management. Klin trained as an engineer, worked in finance, and earned an MBA before joining Seroya on private labels.
After years of helping other brands grow, they turned to their own vintage archive of 1970s and 1980s sequin pieces to build a label of their own. The name blends retro with fête, the French word for party.
