Aknvas - Kalle Denim Godet Skirt

Aknvas - The Kalle Skirt in Deep Blue

Description

A denim skirt with true architecture. The Kalle is cut from deep blue enzyme-washed denim in a godet silhouette — fitted through the hip, then flaring dramatically at the hem. Paneled construction shapes the line, while a braided horsehair hem gives the flare structure and movement, so it holds its sculpted shape with every step. Finished with a back welt zip, fly guard, and contrast leather logo patch, and fully lined for a smooth drape.

Why We Love It

The Kalle proves denim can be dramatic. The enzyme wash keeps the cotton soft and the deep blue rich, while the horsehair hem delivers volume you can’t get from ordinary denim. It’s a statement piece that still feels effortless — casual fabric, couture-level shape.

How to Style It

The natural partner to The Carmi top for a full denim moment, or pair it with a fitted white tee and ballet flats for something more understated. For evening, try a tucked-in silk blouse and heels — the sculpted hem does the rest.

Fabric & Care

The braided horsehair in the hem provides its volume and shape. If the hem becomes kinked in transit or storage, iron it from inside the garment on low to moderate heat with plenty of steam, using a press cloth to protect the fabric — this flattens the horsehair back to the garment and restores the shape.

Storage tip: Hang the skirt in a spacious area where the hem can fall naturally without being compressed.

For general care, we recommend dry cleaning or spot cleaning.
