Definition
A proper high-waisted trouser, cut relaxed and wide through a long, uninterrupted leg. Belt loops, a clean flat front and a concealed hook-and-zip closure keep the tailoring honest, while scrolling tonal cord embroidery climbs the front of each leg in scattered vine and palm forms, lit with hand-set iridescent sequins. The line falls straight from the hip and pools softly at the shoe.

Description
Sculptural tailoring in olive. A wide scoop neckline sits clean across the collarbone, while shaped princess seams draw the body in through the waist before releasing into a soft flare at the hip. An exposed rose-gold zip runs the full length of the centre front — functional, and the piece’s sharpest line. Scrolling tonal cord embroidery covers the body, punctuated with hand-set iridescent sequins in fine scalloped arcs that catch the light as you move. Fully lined. Sleeveless.

Why we love it
Embroidery this considered usually arrives on an evening dress. Putting it on a tailored trouser is the more useful decision by far — you get the craft, and you get something you’ll wear with a plain white shirt on an ordinary Tuesday. How to style it

Its natural partner is the Oasis Relaxed Tailored Pant — a full monochrome suit that reads far more interesting than a suit should. Otherwise: with wide white linen trousers and gold hoops, or tucked-out over a slim black cigarette pant with a pointed flat. Layer a fine trench over the shoulders for evening. Keep jewellery small and warm-metalled to echo the zip.
