Sandra Weil Hams Bustier in Brown Plaid | Strapless Tartan Corset Top

The Hams Bustier by Sandra Weil is a strapless, boned bustier in a brushed plaid of camel, black, and plum, crossed with fine lines of pink, yellow, and lilac. The tartan is cut on the bias, so the check runs diagonally across the body, with the cups and center panel pieced so the pattern meets at angles. It has a sweetheart neckline with seamed cups, corset seams down the fitted body, and it ends at the natural waist. Sandra Weil shows it with the Interstellar Pant, a charcoal pinstripe trouser with a patch of the same plaid at the waistband.

Why We Love It

• A heritage plaid cut on the bias, so it reads sharp rather than cozy
• A sweetheart neckline and seamed cups that shape the bodice
• Corset seams and boning that hold it up without straps
• A daytime-to-evening piece: works with trousers and tailoring as well as skirts
• By Sandra Weil, a Mexico City label known for hand-embroidered, artisan-made eveningwear

How to Style It

• With the Sandra Weil Interstellar Pant as a set, as Sandra Weil shows it
• Under the Sandra Weil Saffron Blazer with the Oak Pant for the office
• With the Sandra Weil Ladon Pant and flats for a tonal brown-and-gray look
• With the De La Vali Sable Trousers in black and the AKNVAS Brigit Bag in chocolate
