The Lavinia Velvet Gown by SAU LEE is a strapless column gown in black velvet with a deep plunging sweetheart neckline, edged all the way around in hand-sewn pearls. The bodice is boned and seamed, with a sheer inset at the V to hold the plunge in place, and the velvet skirt falls slim and straight to the floor. The pearl trim is the only ornament, and it's enough. SAU LEE shows it with pearl studs and slicked-back hair against a chinoiserie mural.
